7 bucks each and you can dig per say from dawn to dusk! It's in the sun so bring that big floppy hat!You can rent digging tool for cheap,or bring your own.Teenage girls do not seem too fond of digging for diamonds.

This is a great activity for the family. They have a video you can watch to get the idea on how to do it correctly. I advise that all of you not only watch it before you go but also at the park before you go out in the field to search. There was a young boy who had found a diamond was getting it verified as we walked by. It was just like they say...it sparkles like a cut diamond.

VISIT THIS PLACE!! I went when I was a child, and wanted so badly to bring my kids. About a month ago, we made the drive and it was SO much fun! Did we find anything? Nope! Did we have a really good time being outdoors and playing in the dirt? YES! Just be aware that if you rent tools, there is a very steep deposit (it's refundable). It took my back about 6 days to put that back in my account. Just a little something to keep in mind.

RV park exceptionally nice. Each RV spot is spacious with plenty of privacy in a wooded area. We'll kept bath house and laundry. Our spot was easy to back in and very level. The power outlet had reverse polarity which maintenance fixed very quickly. Diamond 'mining' is just digging in a dirt field. Lots of work for two days and not anything resembling a diamond. Had more fun in northern Idaho mining garnets and opals, at least we had something to show for our efforts.

It was exciting for a little while. (We expected we would be tired in an hour or two.) So basically you walk through a building to enter the park and walk down to the dirt field and dig. That's it. I wouldn't recommend for families that have children under the age of 8. (Due to lack of A/C or heating and the conditions of the weather.) This is definitely a cool spot to visit.

Once I caught sight of a mad girl child. She stomped everywhere she went.At the end of her hunt in the examine room, her only rock she picked up in 4 hours happen to be a 3+ yellow diamond!!! Great place.
